In every verse, I found a world. In every silence, I found a prayer.

When I first opened Hijr-Nama, I did not merely begin reading a book

As a writer, literary publisher, and cultural researcher from Chile, I have worked with authors from across continents Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Yet, I confess with absolute sincerity: never before have I witnessed a poet like Zeeshan Ameer Saleemi.

When I read his words, translated into English and Urdu side by side, I felt as if I was hearing the voice of time itself slow, deliberate, eternal. Each poem carries the fragrance of centuries: the mysticism of Rumi, the introspection of Ghalib, and the elegance of Faiz yet beyond all comparison, Zeeshan’s voice remains his own, radiant and unrepeatable.

The Philosophy of Hijr A New Language of Feeling

What makes Hijr-Nama so revolutionary is not merely its poetic excellence but its philosophical architecture. Zeeshan has transformed Hijr (separation) into a metaphysical journey.

He writes of distance not as absence, but as awakening 
 of sorrow not as defeat, but as discovery.

His words seem to whisper: to be apart is to understand the nearness of the soul.

As a Chilean reader, raised in the rhythm of Neruda and Mistral, I found in Zeeshan’s work the same universal pulse the longing for connection, the sacred melancholy that gives meaning to life. But Hijr-Nama goes deeper it connects East and West, heart and reason, body and eternity.

A Personal Note From Chile, With Reverence

When the Nawa-e-Hijr Foundation Pakistan sent me my personal copy, I held it for hours before reading. It felt like a sacred object, like a message wrapped in silence from across continents.

And when I read, I wept.
 Because Zeeshan’s Hijr-Nama does not ask you to understand 
 it asks you to feel.

It takes you through heartbreak, into awareness, and finally, into peace. It is not just a book it is an experience, an awakening, a conversation with the soul of the East.
